  • Gluten-free lasagna sheets
  • Marinara sauce
  • Egg
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Shredded parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley

How To Make Gluten-Free Lasagna

Preheat and Prep: Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Next, spray a 9x13x3″ deep baking dish with nonstick spray.

Cook the Gluten-Free Lasagna Sheets: Cook the gluten-free lasagna sheets according to the package directions. Drain and set them aside.

Savor the Savory: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and pork until they’re fully cooked. Season them with kosher salt and black pepper. Drain any excess oil and add the marinara sauce to the meat. Let it simmer for a few minutes, then set it aside.

Ricotta Perfection: In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, egg, and fresh parsley. Mix it all together until you have a creamy and flavorful ricotta mixture.

Layer the Deliciousness: Now comes the fun part—layering! Start with a layer of the marinara and meat mixture at the bottom of the baking dish. Follow it with a layer of gluten-free lasagna sheets. Add half of the ricotta mixture, then repeat the layers twice.

Top it Off and Bake: Finish it off with a final layer of gluten-free lasagna sheets, and top it generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. Pop it into the oven and let it bake for 45 minutes, until it’s perfectly bubbly and irresistible.

Cool and Enjoy: Once it’s done baking, let the Gluten-Free Lasagna sit for 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to settle and make it easier to serve up those mouthwatering slices. Now, dive in and enjoy the comfort of this Italian classic!

Can I make this lasagna ahead of time and freeze it?

Absolutely! Gluten-Free Lasagna is a fantastic make-ahead meal. Once it’s assembled, cover it well with plastic wrap and foil, and pop it in the freezer for up to three months. When you’re ready to enjoy, simply thaw and bake as directed.

Can I use a dairy-free cheese alternative for this recipe?

Certainly! If you prefer a dairy-free option, you can use dairy-free mozzarella cheese without compromising the taste. It may brown slightly differently during baking, but the result will still be delicious.

Can I add veggies to the lasagna for an extra boost of nutrition?

Absolutely! Feel free to sneak in some veggies like spinach, zucchini, or mushrooms between the layers for added nutrition and a delightful twist.
