  • Sugar. You have to add a little bit of sweetness!
  • Passion Fruit Juice. Make sure the seeds are removed, but this is where you get the delicious tangy and tropical flavors.
  • Eggs. An essential ingredient for any curd; this helps thicken everything up.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

  3. Whisk, whisk, whisk! You’ll want to do this for about 8-12 minutes until the mixture is thickened.

Once your curd is cooled off in the refrigerator, it can be stored in an airtight container for 1 to 2 weeks max.

You can use it for so many things! Some of my favorite things to use curd for are as a filling for other recipes, a topping for things like bread, bagels, or muffins, or just as a quick treat when I have a sweet tooth!

Your curd shouldn’t be grainy. If you find that it is, you didn’t mix the eggs well enough. Don’t worry – it’s still totally fine to eat, though!

It should be the texture of yogurt or pudding – soft and smooth! You’ll want to be able to easily spread your curd on a piece of bread or grab a spoonful out of the container to eat in a hurry.
