Gluten and Dairy Free Pimento Cheese Burgers with Bacon Jam

Some foods just equal joy. There’s something about getting messy with an over the top fully loaded burger. Gluten and Dairy Free Pimento Cheese Burgers with Bacon Jam will have you hooked at first bite.

Gluten and Dairy Free Pimento Cheese Burgers with Bacon Jam

Where are my pimento cheese fans at? Just because you are Dairy Free doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this decadent and creamy treat too. Combined with the sweet and savory bacon jam, you truly have the ultimate burger.

Flavor Overload

If you’re going to make a burger, you might as well make a BURGER! Gluten and Dairy Free Pimento Cheese Burgers combine two of my favorite toppings into the ultimate bite.

There are certain foods that I dream about, and burgers are one of them. Whether it’s an Asian inspired pork burger or unctuous sweet and savory lamb burger, I love them all.

The thing I love about these burgers is that you can use whatever base you like for your burger and cook it how you like. If you want to get out and fire up the grill for that kiss of charcoal and smoke, thrown them on the grill. If you love the crust of a skillet burger, pull out your favorite cast iron. The burgers themselves are up to you.

The BBQ Bacon Jam delivers all of the sweet, savory, and smokiness of barbecue in the perfect sticky bite. Honey and brown sugar deliver the sweet while apple cider deliver cuts through with a bright tang. Outside Table’s Weekend BBQ delivers that back note of smoky heat.

The Dairy Free pimento cheese is pure creamy bliss. Dairy Free cream cheese and Dairy Free cheddar are combined with Bacon’s Heir Pork Panko. Made with only two ingredients, pork skin and rock salt, it adds both texture and flavor.

Stacking Up Gluten and Dairy Free Pimento Cheese Burgers with Bacon Jam

Whether you’re celebrating grilling season or cooking your burgers inside, invite some friends over because these burgers are truly a party.

  • Both the bacon jam and the Dairy Free pimento cheese not only can be made ahead of time but are actually better after sitting. This allows their flavors to develop and deepen.
  • To make the bacon jam, add your bacon and onions to a pot over medium-low heat. Allow them to cook until the onions are caramelized and the bacon is completely cooked. Drain off the fat and add the remaining ingredients. Let the bacon-jam cook for another 20 minutes or until it is thickened.
  • To make your Dairy Free Pimento Cheese, make sure you cream cheese is at room temperature. Mix all of the ingredients together until combined. Allow the pimento refrigerate for at least an hour.

I actually have not tried this exact burger, BUT if it has the bacon jam on it- just eat it. You won’t be sorry! I didn’t have the ingredients for the pimento cheese this time, so I subbed DF cream cheese and O.M.G. I have not eaten a burger the usual way with ketchup and mustard ever again. I eat this at least once a month. It is soooo good! Can’t wait to try it with the pimento cheese!
