Is there anything better than the smell of warm cinnamon baking away in the oven? It has that magic power to perfume and permeate the entire house. Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats will have your family rushing to the kitchen as soon as they hit the oven.

Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats

This recipe brings you all of the comfort of a creamy bowl of oatmeal with even more texture and additional fiber and protein. This dish is a cozy way to start the day that will keep you and your family going.

    Healthy and Delicious

Have you ever looked at all of the sugars contained in a serving of instant oatmeal? Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats gives you all of the flavors of your favorite cinnamon apple oatmeal without all of the unnecessary ingredients and additives.

I love oatmeal in general; it's just one of my comfort foods. Baked oatmeal takes oatmeal to a whole new level. The combination of rolled oats and quinoa gives a slight bite and irresistible texture. The quinoa also adds a layer of nuttiness.

Applesauce goes into the baked oatmeal itself while fresh diced apples add a sweet tartness. Pick your favorite apple to eat raw for this recipe. If you like your apples more tart, go with a Granny Smith. If sweet is your thing pick a Gala or Honeycrisp. Have fun trying different apples to top this.

What makes Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats extra special is the use of D'vash Organics Date Syrup. This single ingredient sweetener is made completely from dates. Low on the glycemic scale, it's a 1 to 1 swap for any of your sugars and sugar substitutes.

I love the depth of flavor the date syrup adds. It's almost caramel like flavor enhances the cinnamon and applesauce. Holding the whole creation together are eggs, adding a slightly souffle like texture in addition to protein.

Easy Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats

This hearty breakfast is just as easy as it's delicious. With a little mixing at the beginning, your oven does all of the work for you.

    • Pregame! Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 5" ramekins with nonstick baking spray and set aside.
    • Add the oats and the quinoa to a blender and blend until the texture is fine, like fine sand.
    • Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and blend until everything is completely mixed.
    • Divide the batter between the two ramekins.
    • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with just a little of the baked oats, and it's running.
    • Top with diced apples and an extra drizzle of date syrup.
