Commonly Asked Questions
How should I store the caramel apple cobbler?
Store any leftover cobbler in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep well for about 3 to 4 days. For best results, cover it with plastic wrap or foil to prevent it from drying out.
Can I freeze the caramel apple pie cobbler?
Yes, you can freeze the cobbler! After it’s completely cooled, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 3 months. To reheat, let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight, then bake it at a low temperature until warmed through.
How do I reheat the cobbler?
To reheat, simply place the cobbler in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until it’s heated through. If you’re reheating individual portions, a few minutes in the microwave will also work.
Can I use a different type of apple?
Absolutely! While Granny Smith apples are great for their tart flavor, you can use other types of apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji. Just make sure they are firm enough to hold up during baking.
What if I don’t have pecans?
If you’re not a fan of pecans or don’t have any on hand, feel free to substitute with another type of nut, like walnuts, or simply leave them out. The cobbler will still be delicious!
Can I make the cobbler ahead of time?
Yes, you can prepare the apple filling and batter in advance. Just keep them separate in the refrigerator until you’re ready to assemble and bake. This is a great way to save time if you’re hosting a gathering or want a quick dessert.
How do I make the cobbler extra special?
For an extra touch of indulgence, try serving the cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. A drizzle of extra caramel sauce on top makes it even more delicious!

Caramel Apple Cobbler is what I saw in REELS so I looked! Recipe is so easy, ingredients are not complicated & instructions are so easy. Im going into kitchen to bake! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this recipe.. I will be baking this for sure
Holy cow. This cobbler was OUTSTANDING. I told my husband I was thinking of making something sweet and he sent me the video/reel from IG. I grew up in the Northeast where we ate more apple crisp (with oatmeal) than cobbler. My husband grew up in the deep south and his experience is just opposite of mine. I still largely prefer a crisp (nostalgia maybe?), but we will 100% make this again. I was a bit more heavy handed on the cinnamon. I grated frozen Kerrygold for the butter and put the pecans on the apple mixture before adding the cobbler crust (dough?) on top. We served warm with vanilla ice cream and it was divine. It was so divine I told the husband I could eat a second bowl, but refrained myself. haha!
Thank you Hope for your kind words!!
Outstanding recipe. Made filling. Great taste. First time making a gluten free desert and followed directions without deviation. The only thing I suggest is to increase the number of apples.
Thank you Paul

Fantastic recipe! It was so easy to follow, tweak And imagine Using with other fillings. We used chayote, a Mexican squash & arrow foot instead of corn starch though we do plan to try tapioca next time as I am fructose intolerant. Recipe was a big hit!
The Caramel Apple Cobbler was absolutely delicious. I made a double recipe for Thanksgiving and everyone devoured it. I served this with ice cream. There weren’t any leftovers. Very easy to prepare. I will make this again.
If you use the canned apples, you would not have to cook it for 15 minutes, right but when adding cornstarch and water just until it thickens?

Hello
I always make apple for Thanksgiving. Discovering this recipe might change my mind. Can this be frozen before baking? Or even after baking?
Thank You
Nope! You can use frozen broccoli straight from the bag. There’s no need to thaw it first — it will cook perfectly as the recipe comes together.

The filling can be made ahead and frozen, but the rest of the dessert doesn’t freeze well. I recommend freezing just the filling, then assembling and baking it fresh for the best texture and flavor.
Great Cobbler Chef!
Delicious! misread the ground clove but saved it with extra cinnamon. I am so proud of myself because I been wanting to make cobbler for a while. Thanks for sharing recipe.
