Gluten and Dairy Free Pumpkin Cider Donuts

What is brunch without a little something sweet? It’s that one meal where it’s not only ok, but expected, to combine sweet and savory dishes, ideally with a cocktail on the side. These Gluten and Dairy Free Pumpkin Cider Donuts are the perfect addition to your brunch plans, but easy enough for any morning of the week.

Making donuts at home is easier than getting in your car and going to pick them up. All you need is a donut pan and a mixing bowl, and in less than 20 minutes you’ll have your kitchen smelling like fresh hot donuts!

Sugar and Spice, and Everything Nice

We’re skipping the apples and infusing all the warm spices of cider with pumpkin for the ultimate mashup of flavors. Gluten and Dairy Free Pumpkin Cider Donuts bring all of the flavors of fall and winter in a bite.

It’s no secret I love making donuts at home. They’re easy, fun, and such a great way to play with flavors. Other than a donut pan you don’t need any fancy equipment. There’s no letting dough rise, or frying and making splatters everywhere. It’s truly mix and bake!

These donuts combine the naturally sweet flavor of pumpkin with the warmth of pumpkin spice, allspice, and nutmeg. In addition to adding flavor the pumpkin puree also keeps these donuts tender and moist.

Once these donuts come out of the oven they’re dipped in melted Dairy Free butter and tossed in even more aromatic spices. I promise once you bite into these, you will already be planning to make them again.

Adding depth and dimension to the flavors of these donuts is D’Vash Organics Date Syrup. The date syrup gives that deep caramel flavor while being low on the glycemic scale, Keto and Paleo friendly, Gluten Free, and Certified Organic. I love it because it’s also a one to one replacement for sugar which makes it ideal for baking.
