Pimento Mac and Cheese

Creamy and decadent macaroni and cheese is studded with pimentos and topped in crispy Pork Panko.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 16 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pimentos, drained

Instructions

  •  Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • In a large pot, combine the heavy cream, kosher salt, black pepper, ground mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.
  • Add the cream cheese and chopped pimentos to the pot. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  •  Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese to the pot, stirring constantly until all the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Once the sauce is smooth and well-combined, add the cooked pasta to the pot. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy cheese sauce.
  • Serve Hot and enjoy!
