What's your favorite food group? I love the mighty spud in all forms. Invite some friends over and have fun with Dairy Free Caramelized Onion Dip with Potato Chips.

Dairy Free Caramelized Onion Dip with Potato Chips

Chips and dip are such a classic combination, like peanut butter and jelly. Whether you're looking for an easy appetizer to serve guests or the perfect side to your next barbecue, this easy and delicious recipe will be a crowd pleaser.

    Crunch Factor

Dairy Free Caramelized Onion Dip with Potato Chips is all about that luscious, creamy dip wrapped around the perfect crunchy chip. The textures are just as important as the flavors.

I don't know about you, but I could make a meal out of chips and dip. Potato chips are already one of the most irresistible foods...salty, crispy, savory, but when you find the perfect chip, not all of them make it to the dip.

Go Free Foods Potato Chips are just that, the perfect potato chip. They use a unique process of water-air frying them, resulting in super crispy chips that have 70% less fat than fried potato chips. Unlike baked potato chips, they use real slices of potatoes, not a dough giving you all of that crunch.

The base of the caramelized onion dip begins with creamy Dairy Free sour cream. Dairy Free ranch powder is also added for an herbaceous pop and tang. The true star of the dip those are the sweet, golden onions. As they slowly cook down, their natural sugars intensify and once stirred into the dip that infuse every bite.

How to Make Dairy Free Caramelized Onion Dip with Potato Chips

Break open that bag of chips and let's make their best friend. This dip comes together as quickly as it takes you to cook an onion.

    Time needed: 30 minutes.

    1. Golden Delicious

Dice a small onion. Heat your Dairy Free butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and stir occasionally, allowing them to cook until golden brown, about 20 minutes.

    2. Mix it Up

Add all of your dip ingredients to a bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.

    3. Dive In

Get out your bag of Go Free Foods potato chips, and get your dip on!

    Top Tip

This dip is ready to eat as soon as you mix it up. However, it's one of those things that just gets better the longer you refrigerate it. The flavors will marry and the sweetness of the caramelized onion will permeate the entire bowl.
