Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • Mixing spoon
  • 9x13 baking dish

Ingredients

Maple Blondies

  • 2 1/4 cups 1.1 GF flour
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 tbsp butter melted

Glaze

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

Make the Maple Blondies

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick baking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the wet ingredients: egg, egg yolks, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, melted butter. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, kosher salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-24 minutes. The blondies should look slightly underdone, and a toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool.

Make the Glaze

  • In a separate bowl, combine powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of milk and stir. If the glaze is too runny, add more powdered sugar. If it's too thick, add a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Once the blondies have cooled, drizzle the glaze on top.
  • Enjoy!
