Gluten Free Strawberry Shortcake Rice Krispie Treats

The classic ooey gooey marshmallow dessert gets a twist with a strawberry-vanilla wafer topping.

  • 1 9x13 baking dish
  • 1 stockpot

  • Add the marshmallows and butter to a large stockpot over medium-low heat. Stir until just melted.
  • Add the cereal to the pot and fold to combine, making sure all of the cereal is coated.
  • Pour the cereal mixture into the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread out.
  • All the Rice Krispie Treats to cool slightly before adding the topping.
  • Lightly crush the freeze-dried strawberries and vanilla wafers. Sprinkle over the top.
  • Allow the rice krispie treats to cool completely before cutting.
  • Enjoy!
