Ingredients

chuck roast

beef broth

diced tomatoes

onion, diced

olive oil

tbsp
tomato paste

tsp
browning sauce
Can substitute with Worcestershire sauce

dry red wine

garlic cloves, peeled

celery stalks, sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Thoroughly pat your chuck roast dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat your dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
Add the chuck roast to the heated pot. Allow the first side to sear and brown before flipping and searing the second side. Remove from the pot.
Add the onions and saute for a couple of minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Add the chuck roast back into the pot along with any drippings on the plate. Cover and place in the oven.
Cook for 4-6 hours or until fork tender.
Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.
