Gluten Free Roasted Miso Fig Basted Salmon

This roasted salmon dinner is ready in half an hour with a sweet and tangy fig-miso glaze

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs salmon filet
  • 3 dried figs
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp miso
  • 2 dashes of ancho chile powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray the foil with nonstick spray. Place your salmon on the foil and allow to come to room temperature for 10 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan add the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce into a blender and blender until smooth.
  • Baste the fig-miso sauce over the salmon. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is fork tender or your desired doneness. Enjoy!
