Instructions
Cobbler Flilling
Preheat oven to 350
In a pot over medium heat, add the cobbler filling ingredients. Stir to incorporate
Continue occasionally stirring and cook the ingredients for 10 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved, the syrup has slightly thickened, and the cherries have begun to soften.
Pour into the cast iron skillet
Cobbler Topping
In a bowl, combine the wet ingredients and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Scoop onto the cherry filling.
Bake 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Allow to cool several minutes and then serve warm.
