Easy Sausage Breakfast Pizza

Equipment

  • 1 large skillet with lid
  • 1 nonstick pan
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Carando Toscano Ground Sausage
  • 1 large premade pizza crust
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 oz shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp chives, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sausage. Use a spoon or spatula to break it up, letting it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the onions and peppers and stir to combine. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the sausage is browned and cooked through. Remove from the heat.
  • Add the eggs to a bowl. Use a fork or whisk to break them up and whisk to combine.
  • Add the eggs to a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook them until they are a soft scramble. Immediately remove from the heat.
  • Place the pizza crust onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread the cream cheese over the top of the crust.
  • Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
  • Add the scrambled eggs on top of the cheese.
  • Top the eggs with the sausage mixture.
  • Let the pizza bake for 15 minutes. Remove.
  • Garnish with fresh chives and enjoy!
