Gluten and Dairy Free Bananas Foster Banana Bread
Dairy Free ice cream for serving
Instructions
Gluten Free Banana Bread
Preheat your oven to 375. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick baking spray and set aside.
Add your eggs and sugar to a mixing bowl and mix until and mix for a couple of minutes until the eggs are slightly frothy and the sugar is beginning to dissolve.
Mix in your bananas, vanilla, and butter.
Add the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder and mix until just combined.
Fold in your nuts.
Pour your batter into the prepared load pan.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top is lightly brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely.
Bananas Foster Topping
Add your rum, sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, and butter to a skillet over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the butter has melted.
Add the banana and nuts and allow them to cook for 2 minutes.
Gluten and Dairy Free Bananas Foster Banana Bread
Toast slices of your banana bread on both sides.
Top the banana bread with Dairy Free ice cream and spoon the bananas foster sauce over the top.
