Gluten Free Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast

Peanut butter, jelly, and fresh bananas slices are sandwiched between Gluten Free bread, dipped in an egg custard, and pan fried.

Ingredients

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a bowl mix together the eggs, Dairy Free milk, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Set aside.
  • Spread one slice of bread with peanut butter and the other slice of bread with jelly. Place banana slices on one side and make a sandwich.
  • Heat a skillet over medium/low and add butter to melt.
  • Quickly dip the sandwiches into the egg mixture and then place the sandwiches into the hot skillet.
  • Allow to cook 3-4 minutes, or until the first side is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side 3-4 minutes.
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar together and dip the finished hot sandwiches into it before serving. Enjoy!
