Instructions
Sausage Duck Glace Gravy
In a pot over medium heat, add the olive oil, onion, and bacon. Cook until the bacon is starting to crisp and the onion is translucent, 5-8 minutes.
Add the sausage and cook until the sausage is starting to crisp.
Add the garlic, duck glace, and salt and pepper. Bring to a slow boil. Add the water/cornstarch slurry and continually stir until thickened.
Once thickened add your nutmeg and continue to cook for 10 more minutes.
Pour over the biscuits. Enjoy!
Gluten Free Drop Biscuits
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, mix all of the ingredients until just combined.
Using an ice cream scoop portion out your biscuits onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Top with eggs, sausage links, and gravy.
Notes
If you can not find duck glace, feel free to substitute with beef or veal demi-glace.
