Time needed: 1 hour
Get the coffee brewing because breakfast gets a fun upgrade with these easy homemade baked donuts.

- Pregame
Preheat your oven to 375. This recipe makes 8 donuts. Spray a donut pan with nonstick baking spray and set it aside.

- Mix it up!
Add melted Dairy Free butter and sugar to a bowl and mix for a couple of minutes. Mix in the Dairy Free unsweetened yogurt, egg, and vanilla until combined. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until just combined. You want to be careful of not over mixing.

- Batter up
Divide your donut batter between the donut tins. I like to add berries to my Gluten and Dairy Free Easy Crème Brûlée Donuts. If you’re adding berries slice them into thin sliced and sink them into the batter.

- Timing
Bake your donuts for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- Cool Down
Allow your donuts to partially cool on a cooling rack before filling them with either Dairy Free pastry cream or vanilla instant pudding.

- Fire it up
Lightly sprinkle sugar over the top of the pudding or pastry cream. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the top until golden brown.

Tips for Making Gluten and Dairy Free Easy Crème Brûlée Donuts

I have two tips that will make these donuts a success every time. As with any type of baked good, don’t over mix your batter once you add in your dry ingredients. You want to mix it until it’s just combined. Second, when it comes to making instant pudding with any type of Dairy Free milk, you want to make sure the milk is cold, and always mix on high speed. This will help it set more easily.
